Morgan Lemaitre: Building Wealth, Building Community, Building a Legacy

There’s a Saturday night Morgan Lemaitre has never forgotten. She was a young figure skater, performing under the spotlights at a tourist show at the rink. The lights blinded her. She couldn’t see where she was going. She fell. And in the audience, exactly where her mother had insisted they sit, were her grandparents.
After the show, the family walked across the street to Mr. Mike’s, the Italian place by the rink. It was nearly 8 PM. Morgan was starving. Her grandparents sat with them, told her how much they loved her performance, commented on the costumes. But they never ordered food. They always said they’d wait until they got home. On the rare occasion one of them gave in to their hunger, her grandmother would slide a $20 into Morgan’s mother’s hand before anyone could say a word. Too proud to accept help. Too proud to appear as though she needed anything.
Years later, Morgan drove to her grandmother’s house for Christmas and had to keep her coat on inside. Oil in Vermont was expensive. The pieces began to knit together. Her grandmother wasn’t struggling because she lacked resources. She was struggling because she didn’t know what she had — and no one had ever told her.
When her grandmother passed, Morgan helped settle the estate. She expected almost nothing. What she found stopped her cold: a robust investment portfolio — one that would have been far larger had her financial advisor ever once suggested moving beyond the five stocks she had inherited sixty years prior. The wealth was there. The guidance never was. Her grandmother had spent decades of quiet sacrifice wondering if she had enough, when the answer was yes. She just never knew it.
That realization became the foundation of everything Morgan has built since. Today, as Founder and CEO of Park City Wealth Advisors — a female-founded, fiduciary wealth management firm based in Park City, Utah — she combines institutional-caliber expertise with a profoundly personal approach. Her clients are entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, and multi-generational families. But at the heart of every relationship is the same conviction: no woman should ever have to wonder if she has enough.
A Foundation Built on Excellence
Those Saturday nights on the ice taught Morgan something important: falling in front of people you love is terrifying. But it’s not the falling that defines you — it’s whether you get back up.
Morgan became a two-time United States Figure Skating Gold Medalist and represented the United States three times on the World Junior Synchronized Skating Team. Competitive athletics shaped her in ways no classroom could: discipline, resilience, the ability to prepare relentlessly and still adapt when the unexpected happens. She carried those instincts into the investment world.
She spent more than a decade at Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Raymond James, developing deep expertise in portfolio management, wealth preservation, and sophisticated planning for high-net-worth families. She was good at it. But over time, she kept asking herself the same question her grandmother’s story had planted years before: how many people out there have more than they think — and no one in their corner to help them see it?
She could see it clearly. Women — despite controlling a growing share of the nation’s wealth — were consistently underserved by an industry that had never been designed with them in mind. They were talked at, not with. They were handed a portfolio, not a plan. And too often, they were left sitting at the table but not at the head of it.
So in 2019, she left. She founded Park City Wealth Advisors because she didn’t want one more woman to live in the dark about what she had. She didn’t want the shame around money. She didn’t want the missed dinners, the cold houses, the visits that never happened because someone was afraid to spend what they had already earned.
She is on a mission to help 10,000 women change the narrative — for themselves, for their families, and for the generations that follow. Not just to grow their wealth, but to actually live it.
Redefining the Client Experience
Park City Wealth Advisors was built on a conviction that financial planning should start with people, not portfolios. Not with a risk tolerance questionnaire, but with a real conversation about who you are, what you’ve built, and what you’re afraid of losing.
Today, the firm provides comprehensive wealth management for entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, and families who have built wealth through concentrated stock positions, successful businesses, real estate, and other complex assets.
Rather than focusing solely on investment performance, Morgan’s team takes a holistic approach, coordinating investment management, tax strategy, estate planning, insurance, philanthropy, and legacy planning into one integrated strategy.
Increasingly, Morgan has become known for helping women navigate some of life’s most significant financial transitions.
Morgan has become a trusted guide for women navigating some of life’s most significant financial turning points — the sale of a business, a divorce, widowhood, a sudden inheritance, or simply the moment when the weight of financial decisions lands entirely on their shoulders for the first time. These are not just financial events. They are life events. And they deserve more than a spreadsheet.
“I see the same fear in every woman I work with, whether she has $100,000 or $50 million,” Morgan says. “The concern is always the same — that she’ll run out. That she’ll end up bagging groceries just to eat. There’s actually a name for it: the Bag Lady Theory. My job is to replace that fear with clarity. Women deserve advisors who listen first, educate clearly, and build strategies around their lives — not around assumptions.”
That philosophy has helped establish Park City Wealth Advisors as a trusted resource for women seeking both financial expertise and genuine partnership.
Championing Entrepreneurs and Visionaries
Morgan has always been drawn to entrepreneurs. She understands firsthand the uncertainty, sacrifice, and courage required to build something meaningful.
Many of the founders she serves have spent years creating companies that represent far more than financial success, they represent their life’s work. Morgan’s role is to help ensure that success becomes lasting wealth.
She has developed a particular passion for working with female founders, many of whom continue to overcome barriers to capital, leadership opportunities, and financial resources.
“I love working with people who are creating something bigger than themselves,” Morgan says. “They’ve poured their lives into building something. My role is to make sure that sacrifice actually becomes lasting wealth — wealth they can see, use, and pass forward.”
Financial Education as a Mission
Financial literacy, Morgan will tell you, isn’t about retirement timelines or asset allocation. It’s about the moments in your life. It’s about whether you say yes to dinner with the people you love. Whether you keep the heat on in winter. Whether you book the trip, take the visit, make the memory. She believes every person deserves access to that kind of clarity — regardless of income, background, or where they’re starting from.
Whether speaking at conferences, appearing on podcasts, leading community workshops, or mentoring young professionals, she is passionate about making financial planning understandable rather than intimidating.
That mission recently expanded through the launch of Park City Wealth Advisors’ Summer Financial Literacy Series, designed to provide practical financial education for young adults entering the workforce.
She believes every person deserves access to quality financial education regardless of their income, background, or stage of life.
“Knowledge creates confidence,” Morgan says. “When people understand their finances, they make better decisions — not only for themselves, but for the generations that come after them.”
Deep Roots in Park City
Morgan’s connection to Park City extends well beyond her business.
Long before founding Park City Wealth Advisors, she invested her time and energy into the community she proudly calls home.
She has coached with the Figure Skating Club of Park City, volunteered with the historic Egyptian Theatre, supported KPCW Community Radio, and remains committed to strengthening the community through education, mentorship, and local engagement.
Today, that same spirit of service is reflected throughout Park City Wealth Advisors.
The firm regularly hosts educational events, creates internship opportunities through its Summer Analyst Program, partners with local organizations, and invests in initiatives designed to strengthen both individuals and the broader community.
“Park City has given me so much — personally and professionally,” Morgan says. “Everything we do at PCWA is our way of giving something real back.”
Family at the Heart of Everything

Morgan will tell you, without hesitation, that her family is her greatest accomplishment. She and her husband Dan — a musician, entrepreneur, and the kind of partner who genuinely believes in what she’s building — are raising their daughter Poppy in the mountains they love. Their two Maine Coon cats, Nyx and Hobbes, complete the picture.
Like many of the clients she advises, Morgan understands the constant balancing act between career ambitions and family priorities.
That perspective influences every conversation she has with clients.
For Morgan, wealth has never been about accumulation. It is about warm houses at Christmas. It is about saying yes to the flight, the dinner, the trip. It is about sitting across the table from the people you love and not being pained with worry. It is about leaving the next generation more prepared — and more free — than the last.
Looking Ahead
As Park City Wealth Advisors continues to grow, Morgan remains guided by the principles that inspired her to found the firm: integrity, education, service, relationships, and community.
In an industry undergoing profound change, she is helping redefine what modern wealth management looks like—one built on trust, transparency, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to helping people flourish.
Whether guiding a founder through the sale of her company, sitting with a widow who has never managed money alone, mentoring the next generation of financial professionals, or encouraging a young woman to invest for the very first time — Morgan Lemaitre shows up the same way every time. Present. Honest. Certain that the work matters.
It is about possibility. It is about legacy. It is about the dinner table at Mr. Mike’s, finally full.
